1. Refer to the sermon notes to find the comparison between worldly love and biblical love. Which one of those stand out to you? Do you feel tempted by any of the descriptions of worldly love? 

2. What kind of love are you most drawn to? What kind of love is easiest for you to show to others?

3. Do you struggle with the idea that God loves us, not because we are lovable, but because He is love?

4. How would you describe the difference between agape love and phileo love? How do you see these types of love reflected in God’s character?

5. 1 John 4:19 says “We love because He first loved us.” Share with your group how you have seen God’s love in your life.
