Introduction:
Advent = Arrival
The Church celebrates and anticipates the coming of Jesus during the 4 Sundays leading up to Christmas.
1st Advent - Hope: Our Hope is in Jesus
2nd Advent - Love: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son
3rd Advent - Faith: For without Faith it is impossible to please God
4th Advent - Peace: We have Peace with God and we get to share that peace with the world

Genealogy:
Definition: A line of descendants traced from an ancestor.
Proof of a qualified Messiah

Hesed:
Loyal Love = love - generosity - enduring commitment
Covenant Love = Not conditional; not based on worth / value

Who is Jesus?

Jesus = Yeshua - Joshua = "Yahweh saves” or “the Lord is salvation”
