CG Questions: Partiality

1. How would you define prejudice? Partiality? Favoritism? Why are these things bad?

2. What kind of prejudices and distinctions do you see in your context?

3. Do you have any prejudice or partiality in your own heart that you need to confess?

4. James 2 says to show no partiality but Galatians 6:10 encourages us to do good to “everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Does this mean we should be partial towards those who are believers? Do these passages contradict one another? How do you reconcile these verses?
